This page is to aid in finding metal musicians that would be interesting in making this project and forming a band. The style is mainly power metal (we like a little thrash too) with medieval folk/celtic/classical melodies which are our favorite.
We are looking mainly for a drummer (very decent skills required but you don't need to pound double bass like the drum machine in the demos) but would also be interested in a second guitar player (with strong balanced skill) and even a keyboard player for that matter.
Contact Ryan if you want to get involved or please tell your friends! thykeeper@comcast.net
Thus far the "band" is:

Older Demo RecordingsThe Revolt Of Ionia. The second installment of home recordings. Vocals came out better this time but still the sound is "mucky" overall. This song features more of Ryan's vocals a few rich guitar harmonys and a metal version of the medieval flute solo "The Cobblers Horn Pipe". Note that this song is also in partial format on account of it being a demo.
To Athens With Victory... This was recorded in my home (oct 2004) and was a learning experience with my new equipment. It did not come out well (the singing in particular) but is not so poor that it can not be listened to. There is not as much power metal element or guitar leads as normally I would write also me and Will were rusty from not doing much musically in a solid year. We did not finish enough lyrics so only the first half of the song was recorded. Next song will be better...
Mononoke Medly. This was recorded by Ryan (and written/performed) in 2002 as a learning experiment in a real studio. In some sense it has nothing to do with this project (the keyboards mainly), however it does represent the style enough to bother posting it. Plus it has the only fancy guitar playing I have ever recorded. ;)
Other really good stuff...
